Sweet Earth Tiles

Sweet Earth Tiles uses the same production methods that fine artisan tile makers have used for centuries. Although great care is taken with every tile, slight variations do occur. The result is a rich, lively surface that bears the history of the hand creating it.

Hand Painted Tiles are rolled from soft clay and cut to size. They are then dried, bisque-fired, glazed and hand painted before being fired a final time.

Relief Tiles begin as sculpted bas-relief original pieces. A mold is then cast of the original, and pressings are made to create new tiles. These pieces are then dried, bisque-fired, glazed and fired a final time.
